Group, one of Connecticut's premier family-owned businesses, is pleased to
announce that our major expansion plan which began in 2007 is now complete.
The expansion plan, dubbed Project HX: The Hoffman Ten, was a two year-long
initiative which included major facility renovations and construction, as well
as additional franchise offerings. As a result of the expansion, the Hoffman
Auto Group has ten franchises, Ford, Audi, Posche, Saab, Lexus, Toyota, Honda,
Nissan, Scion and smart, with buildings totaling an estimated 212,000 square
feet.
"We are one of the largest dealers in Connecticut, and with
Project HX, we have taken business to a whole new level," said Jeffrey Hoffman,
co-chariman of Hoffman Auto Group. "When customers enter our facilities, they
now are given an experience that is unmatched in our industry."

In
addition to the new Audi dealership on Connecticut Boulevard which was completed
in 2007, Hoffman Auto Group also opened a brand new franchise and location for
the
smart Car, a highly popular vehicle in Europe that
arrived in the U.S. in January 2008.
The Hoffman Nissan building in West
Simsbury (Rt. 44) was completed in the summer of 2008, and Hoffman Lexus in East
Hartford was enlarged and renovated in the summer of 2008.
The Hoffman
Honda Grand-Reopening was held in June 2009. Hoffman Toyota in West Simsbury
will celebrate their Grand Re-Opening on Sept. 17th.
Both Honda and Toyota's
service areas have been expanded, and include climate-controlled indoor service
drive-up/drive-through lanes. The showrooms have been expanded in size and now
hold 10 vehicles each! The customer lounge areas now include a refreshment
area, new flat-screen TVs and children's play areas. Also included in the Rt. 44
Auto Park expansion are customer business lounges with wireless capabilities.
Finally, new parking areas are also being completed.
